Eddy Duran
WRITER DIRECTOR PRODUCER
Eddy Duran started his career as a public access television producer. While working as a box office clerk for the Samuel Goldwyn Company, he worked on various small film productions in New York and L.A. A year later he got his first opportunity in the form of a P.A. on the TV series New York Undercover.
Recognizing the need to create thought-provoking films, Eddy enrolled in courses for filmmaking at NYU, and moved towards producing and directing his first film short Good Thing. Three months later Eddy wrote the script and assembled the team for his first independent feature Stone Cold Killers: Los Jodedores, an urban drama about how the lives of a drug dealer with integrity, a visual artist, an alcoholic, and a violent ex-con, become inextricably bound together in Manhattan’s Washington Heights and Brooklyn’s East New York. Stone Cold Killers was acquired by Maverick Entertainment. Maverick also acquired his second feature, Grand Opening, a comedy about the owner of a dysfunctional supermarket with eccentric employees and cynical customers. Both have been top sellers in Maverick’s library and can be found in any video outlet retailer including Blockbuster and Netflix. Eddy recently completed his third independent feature entitled Shoes Crazy, which will be selling in Amazon.com with in the next few months. His fourth film is “The Lesson Plan” which he wrote and directed. It’s a thought provoking 30min. short film Based on “The Willie Lynch Letter”. The short was produced with the intent of producing the full-length feature. He has also developed 2 tv pilots, one is for a reality-based show entitled Fox Hunt, chronicling the daily operations of a “real women’s” modeling/entertainment life style agency, and the other is a drama series entitled “Pale Blue Light” a - Tv drama about 2 brothers who turn a family own dying Latino record label to the Top Hip Hop Label in the country, the show chronicles the rise and the tribulations of the record company and the effects it has on the family bond It's storylines are related to THE LESSON PLAN message of Black Disunity. The Wire Meets Entourage meets The Sopranos. Right now "The Lesson Plan", will be featured in several other film festivals throughout the United States. Duranfilms has just wrapped and is in post production of “When it Rains” another short film Eddy Duran is produced about teenage suicide.

Onix Duran
ACTOR, PRODUCER
Definitely not a newcomer to the acting business Onix has acted in all of Duranfilms productions. He previously had the starring role in the short film, "The Lesson Plan, ". A graduate of New York University, Onix is currently working for the New York City Board of Education as a high school teacher at Transit Tech in Brooklyn, New York. Even though he wouldn’t mind appearing in movies his first love is teaching.

Jone Duran
ACTOR
Jonathan started to develop an interest towards acting straight out of High School. He attended his first year of college at St. John's University, then he transferred to The International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa majoring in Digital Movie Production. His first film was Grand Opening, then he had his first major role in "The Lesson Plan" followed by “When it Rains” . Jonathan is currently following all the necessary steps to become an A-List, blockbuster, go-to, Oscar bait actor.
